Floral Mini Album by Linda
Hi! Today is a beautiful Spring day and the perfect time to share this project with you! I saw this tutorial for a mini-album on Splitcoaststampers, this week and knew I had to make it with the Floral collection and all the beautiful coordinating ephemera pieces. (To see the tutorial and paper collection, just click on each highlighted link.) To start with, I cut two 14" pieces of white satin ribbon and colored it with Copic marker BG57. I left it streaky because I wanted it to have a shabby/chic look. This is the outside of the mini-album. To add some...
Floral Cards by Linda
Hi everyone, Today I'm going to show you how I played with the largest stamp from the Floral stamp set and created 3 cards with all the same materials, but still ended up with a different look on each card. I was able to create a different look, by placing the stamp differently on each card. I used the above piece of patterned paper from the Floral collection for the card base, and coloured the roses with Copic markers. Copics used were: Flowers: E00, E01, E02, E95, E99 Leaves: G20, G82 To colour the roses I used a very simple colouring style. On...
Wild Whisper And Xyron Collaboration - Scrapbook Layout With Sara Scraps
Hello Hello! For my layout I used the Fandom Collection. As the mother of a full blown Whovian, I was so excited to see the little bits of Dr. Who sprinkled throughout this line. I waited until I got the PERFECT photo to use . My son likes to sit in his desk chair and watch the light shine through his sonic screwdriver and contemplate life. I bided my time and kept my eye out and finally... I GOT IT! I love that I was able to bring the layout in my head of the Tardis' flying off the patterned...
Never Run When You're Scared by Jenn
Hello, Jenn here!!! Happy Fandom month :) I'm so excited to get started with this fantastic collection. It was like Christmas morning for me when I finally got to open up all the packages and play. This collection encompasses so many of the fandoms that I love, including my favourite Doctor Who, so I knew that had to be my first layout. I started with a paper from Prima that has a galaxy pattern on it, and used some star stamps and embossing powder to scatter silver stars all over the paper. Next I found the Tardis from the Fandom...
Spring Time - Linda Pekrul
Hi everyone! Around this time of year, I find myself yearning for spring. The winters here are long and quiet, with most of the birds having left to go south, to warmer climates. So I thought I'd make myself happy scrapping some memories of spring weather, and at the same time, show you that the Life Isn't Perfect collection can also be used for happy layouts! I chose the background paper because it had a happy feel to me, it tied in with all the water in my photos, and the colours remind me of spring here in Alberta....
