Hello, Jenn here! I was really excited this week to pull out my Out & About collection from Wild Whisper. It's such a fun and colourful collection, perfect for travel photos. I decided to use the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine's July sketch for this layout, as well. I chose a black background for this layout because I think it really highlights the colours in the collection. This is a bittersweet post for me. This is my last post as a DT member for Wild Whisper and this project is in memory of my grandparents, we just lost my Grandmother on the 21st. So the original idea I had was put away and I thought the Forever & Always Collection would be perfect set to use as a tribute. I'm wrapping up my month of creating with the Forever and Always collection by having some fun with mixed media :) I keep seeing these gorgeous mixed media layouts on Instagram that just have me swooning, and I thought I would give it a try. I started with some white cardstock and a heart stencil from Stampin' Up. I used white texture paste through to stencil in the bottom left corner, and opposite top right corner. Hello, Jenn here! Have you seen Wild Whisper's new online class, Wild Weddings that launched May 1st? Well, I took one look at the promo photo and instantly thought it would make a great layout, soooo that's what I did this week. I did things a little different from my usual routine this time. I knew how I wanted the layout to look so I got started with some splatters of colour right in the center of a piece of white cardstock, to build the background.
