Hello friends! Karla here today with another project using the awesome Road Trip Collection! I love that along with the 12x12 Paper Packs Wild Whisper offers coordinating card packs. I use these on my layouts, but I also really enjoy using them in my pocket pages! Often, when I have photos from an event with quite a few pictures I'll do one main layout and then pocket pages for the rest of the photos. I have two pocket pages to share with you today. Of course, I want to dress up my pockets - so these supplies are perfect!!
These photos are from a few years ago when we went to a campground in Alberta - Little Bow Provincial Park. We have gone every year for quite a few years and it was so fun to look back on how little the kids were! I thought the pictures of the girls biking went along well with the 'road trip' theme. I used a white gel pen on the darker 3x4 card to add journaling and added some coordinating sequins to give a bit of bling!
The Ephemera Pack is so fun with so many great images! I used this cute little camper van to add another element to the 4x6 card before adding it to the pocket.
For my second pocket page I used the new 6x8 Licence Plate Stamp Set to add ADVNTR to my page. I really love this stamp set! There are so many options for cool layout titles. I used the green Wild Whisper Pine Dreams Embossing Powder to emboss the letters for a neat texture.
The fun ephemera is great to embellish the pockets!
The sentiments on the cards are such a great font and all coordinate with the ephemera and papers, giving the pages a cohesive feel.
I placed the Hit The Road ephemera sentiment on top of the page protector, using some of the 12x12 paper to layer over a journaling card. I love the colours in the sequin pack - adding some bright pops of colour.
Thanks so much for stopping by! If you missed the full layout using photos from this trip be sure to check out this post here. Don't forget to use the code DTKARLA to save 10% in the Wild Whisper Shop and have an awesome day!
