Hello Everyone! Sara here with you today. I have my first project to share today using the beautiful new Carefree Collection by Pam Bray.
I just love, love, love the bright, bold florals in this kit and the pretty B-side patterns. I fussy cut a whole page of those red flowers so I have plenty to work with! I wanted to document these 2 photos of my niece with her dear friend, Forkie, who goes with her everywhere. I printed the photos in black and white so that the photo wouldn't compete with the colors in the collection (great tip for using bright colors on a layout)
I popped up some of the flowers with foam tape to give them a bit of a pop and dimension! I used one of the cut aparts from the collection as a subtitle to my page. And some Thickers from my stash were a perfect match to my red florals!
I added some stamping behind my photo using the Riverbed stamp set. This stamp set is super versatile and I'll be using it in many projects to come in many different ways!
I also have a special trest for all of you! I've created a sketch that you can save and use for your next project! It was created by me and you are welcome to use it too.
And, as always, you can see how this layout came together on my You Tube channel.
I hope you have enjoyed this process and be sure to take a peek at all the gorgeous products in the shop. You can always use my code, DTSARA , to save a bit on your next order.
Have a Lovely Day!
