Xoxoxo Valentine's Day Card by Katelyn

Hey Wild Whisper Fans, Katelyn here! I'm excited to be on the blog today sharing with you my Xoxoxo Masculine Valentine's Day Card which features the Adventure Collection, Home for the Holidays Collection and the Classic Woodgrains Collection. With only thirteen days until Valentine's day, I knew that I needed to create a card for my fiancé that wasn't pink and frilly, so the Adventure collection was the perfect collection to use. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite winter beverage as I will walk you through how to recreate my card at home.

From the Adventure card pack, fussy cut a label and arrow out of the cards. From the left over card that the label comes from, cut out a heart. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the xoxo stamp and stamp onto the label. Distress the edges of the label. Ink the edges of the label, heart and arrow using Acorn Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Choose a border strip from the bottom of one of the papers. Cut the border strip to 4". Distress the edges of the strip. Ink the edges of the strip using Acorn Ink and a blending tool with foam.

From the Adventure Paper Pack, you'll need the track paper. Cut one piece that measures 3 3/4" x 5" and cut another piece that measures 3" x 4". Flip the paper over and cut a piece that measures 1/2" x 3 1/4". Distress the edges of all of the papers. Ink the edges of the papers using Acorn Ink and a blending tool with foam.

From the Adventure Paper Pack, you'll need the arrow paper. Cut one piece that measures 4" x 5 1/4" and cut another piece that measures 2 3/4" x 3 3/4". Distress the edges of all of the papers. Ink the edges of the papers using Acorn Ink and a blending tool with foam.

From the Classic Woodgrain Paper Pack, you'll need the wood paper. Cut one piece that measures 3 1/2" x 4 3/4". Distress the edges of all of the paper. Ink the edges of the papers using Acorn Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Adhere the 3 3/4" track paper to the 4" arrow paper. Adhere the wood paper to the 3 3/4" track paper. Adhere the 2 3/4" arrow paper to the 3" track paper. Foam square the track paper to the right hand side of the wood paper, leaving a 1/2" at the top and bottom of the papers. Adhere the bear paper 1/2" from the bottom of the arrow paper and right against the track paper.

Adhere the border strip to the middle of the bear paper. Foam square the label to the middle of the bear paper. Adhere the arrow underneath of the label. Adhere the heart to the right of the xoxoxo.

At the top of the arrow paper, tear the paper down. On the left hand side of the wood paper, tear the paper down. On the bottom of the wood paper, tear the paper up.

Cut a cardbase out of white cardstock that measures 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", score at 4 1/4". Adhere the card front to the card base.
