Hi everyone! Today I created this adorable Travel themed mini album using the adorable Out & About collection and the Strong & Free collection.
I have a friend who visited Canada and I wanted to make her a little album she could fill with photos, journaling and memorabilia and the Out & About collection was just too perfect. I love that the whole collection coordinates so well so that the album looks great with all the different papers.
I created this mini album by making envelopes out of each of the papers in the paper pack. I used my WeRMemory Keepers envelope punch to create my envelopes but I think you could also take a pre-made envelope, open it up, and use it as a template. Once I had all my envelopes ready I adhered them together to create pockets. The pockets are going to be the perfect home for photos and the journaling cards from the Out & About collection.
Once I was done putting together the pages of the album I adhered a wooden cover so that it’s really strong and durable. Another benefit of the wooden cover is that the accordion style mini album can stand up like a display piece. I love that feature!
I decided to decorate the cover of the mini album with a journaling card, some scraps of the paper, and some of the adorable embellishments from the shop. There’s something about that wood veneer deer which just screams Canada to me, so I added that. After sticking on some cork and sequin hearts I added the date and called it done. I can’t wait to add photos and journaling.
I hope you’ll try your hand at making an envelope mini album… they are so easy, cute, and fun to make.
Have a lovely day. xoxo Tori
