Hello friends! It is Katelyn here with a double pocket page spread to share with you! I am featuring Wild Whisper's latest collection, Farmhouse! This collection stole my heart with its rich colors!
I decided to try my hand at one of these uniquely shaped page protectors. And I thought these pages would be perfect companion pages to go with my last Wild Whisper Design Team project. I decided to even stretch this collection further by using the piece of papers on both sides! This presented a challenge when it came to some of the directional patterns.
The barn patterned paper is so beautiful! I wanted the paper to speak for itself, so I did minimal embellishing. I paired a neutral doily with this script font stickers to let the colors of the paper shine through. I kept the other two segments relatively plain, using some of the cut aparts to deck them out. For dimension, I used wooden buttons from my stash to create a more rustic look.
On the second side of this pocket page, I already had my work cut out for me, literally! All of the patterns were decided, so I mainly was concerned with embellishing. I left one of the pockets open to add some journaling and then added a simple acetate title to the middle. I used the other section of the doily on the bottom card to add more neutral, but dainty elements.
