Hi friends and welcome back! It's Katelyn here with another project featuring the gorgeous Wild Whisper Farmhouse collection! This layout coordinates with the previous two layouts I've shared here on the Wild Whisper blog. I'm so glad that I got to use this collection to truly capture this event's theme perfectly!
I decided to go with the chicken footprint background paper to bring in that light shade of teal. It helps all of the light and darker colors pop off of it. On all of my layers, I used an inking tool to dust brown ink on to the edges to provide more definition between my layers. I tried to mix in a lot of various patterned papers and colors to make this an interesting and colorful layout.
For my title, I layered two squares from the cut apart sheet together and boosted them up on fun foam. These also have inked edges to give the more rustic feel. I trimmed out the barn from the cut apart sheet to use as another element in this cluster. At the bottom of my page, I used a branding strip and some washi tape to add a bit more pattern to the page.
To finish off the layout, I added some wood veneer buttons from my stash. It continues to add that rustic feeling. I hope you enjoyed this layout! You can watch the full process video here!
