I started by stamping lots of the leaf image onto white cardstock using Staz On black ink. Then using my Brother Scan N Cut 2, I cut them all out. Then I misted them with water and then in groups I misted them with a variety of sprays. Let them dry completely, or speed the process up with a heat gun.
I created a simple background with kraft cardstock and splattered the same misters diagonally across it. Let dry. Then I added a layered border on the left side of the layout.
I matted the photo in white cardstock and larger layers of orange patterned paper and yellow cardstock. I distressed the edges of all of the layers. Adhere together using foam tape between some of the layers for added dimension.
Then finally I added a tag with burlap string to the top right hand corner of the layout. Then began adding the leaves around the photo, tag and bottom left hand corner.
