Hey Wild Whisper Fans, Katelyn here! For today's post, I created this Sometimes The Littlest Things Wall Hanging which is perfect for adding to a nursery. To create my wall hanging, I've used the Sweet Little One Collection. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite winter beverage and learn how to recreate my wall hanging at home.
To start, you'll need the word paper from the Sweet Little One Paper Pack. Die cut a 4 1/2" Stitched Indented Rectangle. Distress the edges. Ink the edges of the rectangle using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Next, you'll need the yellow ombre paper from the Sweet Little One Paper Pack. Die cut a 4 1/4" Fitted Indented Rectangle. Distress the edges. Ink the edges of the rectangle using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Next, you'll need the cloud paper from the Sweet Little One Paper Pack. Die cut a 4" Stitched Indented Rectangle. Distress the edges. Ink the edges of the rectangle using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Choose two border strips from the bottom of the papers. Cut one down to 3 3/4". Cut the other one down to 4" and cut another piece off that measures 2". Ink the edges of the border strips using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the cut apart paper, cut out the blocks. Ink the edges of the blocks using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the Sweet Little One Card Pack, you'll need the hearts card, the 4x6 rainbow card, the single rainbow card and the Sometimes Card. Cut the Hearts card down to 3" x 3 3/4". Cut the 4x6 rainbow card down to 3 1/2" x 4". Cut the single rainbow out. Cut the sometimes card down to 2 3/4" x 3 1/2". Distress the edges of everything but the single rainbow. Ink the edges of all of the pieces using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the Sweet Little One Ephemera - Boy Pack, you'll need the Baby banner, the bottle, the rattle and five hearts. Fussy cut all of the pieces. Ink the edges of the bottle and rattle using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Adhere the 4 1/4" rectangle to the 4 1/2" rectangle. Adhere the 4" rectangle to the 4 1/4" rectangle.
Adhere the 2" border strip 1/4" from the left and 1/4" from the top of the rainbow card. Adhere the rainbow card 1/2" from the left and 5/8" from the top of the 4" rectangle.
Adhere the Sometimes card to the heart piece. Adhere the single rainbow 1/2" from the left and 1" from the top of the heart paper. Foam square the heart paper to the middle of the rainbow paper.
Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the two border strips to the bottom of the sometimes piece as desired.
Adhere the bottle and rattle in behind the blocks as desired. Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the blocks to the bottom left corner of the Sometimes Card.
Adhere the Baby banner to the top right side of the rectangles. Adhere the five hearts as desired around the Sometimes Card.
To finish the wall hanging, punch two holes at the top of the wall hanging. Tie a piece of white twine through each hole to create the hanging portion of the wall hanging.
