Hi Friends!
It is no secret that I love the Wild Whisper Stamp Sets! They are just so so fun and super versatile. When I am running low on patterned paper in a certain collection, I know that I can add those stamps and create a background that I just love with very few supplies. SO.....grab some patterned paper leftovers and your favorite stamp sets and let's make a quick and easy layout!
For this layout, I started with a white cardstock foundation because I knew that I wanted to do some inking and stamping. I created layers with the Timber stamp as well as the open circles from the Out and About Stamp Set using Catherine Pooler Aquatini and Twilight inks. I then used my ink dauber to add a little more blended color to the background around where I knew my embellishments and photos were going to go. I also added some black splatters as well as edge inking to tie everything together.
Next, I created some layers for my clusters using a piece of black circle cut file as well as a bunch of leftover patterned paper pieces from the Masculine collection as well as from Pay Bray's Watercolor collection. These were perfect for the look I was going for with the stamping and matched the colors in my photo really well.
I finished everything off with some really fun letters from Amy Tangerine as well as a bunch of wood veneer leaves. I used my Twilight ink pad to tint the color of the leaves to match the colors in the patterned paper. It's a super easy trick to get your embellishments coordinated with those Wild Whisper leftovers in no time! Adding just a few sequins was the final touch that this layout needed to be complete. As you can see, it can be quick and easy to pair your favorite stamps with the leftovers from some of your favorite collections to create a texture rich layout without a lot of fuss!
