I started my layout by creating a simple layered background with white and grey cardstock. Then using coordinating Media Gloss Sprays, I splattered around the layout.
I used a plate to trace and cut out the yellow circle. It just happened to be the perfect size. Then I adhered it in the middle of the layout.

I cut a strip of the books patterned paper and added the black word border strip next to it on the right hand side of the layout.
Double mat the photo in white and grey cardstock. Then add to the layout using foam tape. I added the title to the bottom left hand corner using the "Hit the Books" ephemera and letter stickers. Then I added star ephemera and some black glitter enamel dots across the layout.
I also added a mini ephemera journal block to the side of the photo to add the date.
