Hello Winter Altered Frame by Katelyn

Hey Wild Whisper Fans, Katelyn here! I'm thrilled to be back on the blog today sharing my Hello Winter Altered Frame perfect to put in any place in your home for the holiday season. To create my altered frame, you'll need the Canadian Winter Collection. Grab a cup of your favourite Christmas beverage and learn how to recreate my altered frame at home.
To start, you'll ned a white frame that measures 6" x 8".
Next, you'll need the grey circle paper from the Canadian Winter Paper Pack. Cut a piece that measures 5 1/2" x 8". Distress the edges. Ink the edges of the paper using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the glove and hat paper, cut a piece that measures 5 1/4" x 7 3/4". Distress the edges of the paper. Ink the edges of the paper using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the blue circle paper, cut a piece that measures 5" x 7 1/2" and a second piece that mesures 3 3/4" x 4 1/2". Distress the edges of both papers. Ink the edges of both papers using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Next, you'll need the deer head paper. Cut one piece that measures 4 3/4" x 7 1/4" and cut a second piece that measures 4" x 4 3/4". Flip the 4" piece over. Distress the edges of both pieces. Ink the edges of both pieces using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the cut apart paper, you'll need to fussy cut the sled out. As well cut one of the small squares out. Cut the small square in half. Distress the edges of the two pieces. Ink the edges of the sled and two pieces using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the Canadian Winter Card pack, you'll need the hello winter, the red 4" x 6" card and the card with the snowshoes. Cut the red card down to 3 1/4" x 4 1/4". Fussy cut the snowshoes out. Distress the edges of both cards. Ink the edges of both cards and the snowshoes using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Choose three border strips from the bottom of the patterned papers. Cut one border strip to 5 1/4". Cut the second border strip to 5". Cut the third border strip in two pieces, one that measures 2 1/4" and the other 1 1/4". Ink the edges of all border strips using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Choose three patterned papers you've already used. Cut some flags out of each of the papers. Keep the two flags at their full length. Cut the other flag down to 4". Ink the edges of all three flags using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the Canadian Winter Ephemera Package, you'll need two cups, the gloves and six hexagons with snowflakes. Fussy cut around the two cups and the gloves. Ink the edges of the cups, gloves and hexagons using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Choose one of the Flair buttons from the Canadian Winter Flair. 
Adhere the deer paper to the blue circle paper. Adhere the blue circle paper to the glove and hat paper. Adhere the glove and hat paper to the grey circle paper.
Adhere the blue circle paper to the 4" pink paper. Foam square the 4" pink paper 1 1/2" from the bottom and 1/4" from the right of the grey circle paper. Adhere the hello winter card to the red card. Foam square the red card 1/4" from the top of the pink paper and to the red of the gloves and hat paper on the right hand side. 
Adhere one of the snowshoe papers 1/4" above and 1/2" from the left of the pink 4" paper. Adhere the other snowshoe paper 3/8" from the bottom and 3/8" from the right of the 4" pink paper. Adhere the 2 1/4" border strip 1/8" from the bottom of and 1/8" past the 4" pink paper. Adhere the 1 1/4" border strip 1/8" from the left and 1/4" from the top of the pink paper. Adhere the 5 1/4" border strip 1/2" from the bottom of the red card. Adhere the 5" border strip slightly over top of the 5 1/4" border strip.
Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere three of the hexagons above the hello winter card. Adhere the other three hexagons 1/2" from the top of the red card. Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the snowshoes, gloves, cups, sled and flair button as desired.
Adhere the layout into the frame.
In the top left corner of the frame, adhere the three flag sets as desired.
To finish the altered frame, add some of the Canadian Winter Sequins as desired on the hello winter card.
