Khristinag Sorge is back today with a layout using both the Classic Woodgrains and More Adventures collections! Check out her process video below and Khristina will take it from here.
How do you go about including several photos on a layout? Do you like grid designs or pocket scrapbooking? Maybe you prefer an interactive book or mini album? Today, I wanted to get five photos on a layout from a recent adventure my little family took to Colorado so I decided to create some flip pockets as well as some hidden journaling tags to create a fun and interactive element on my page.
I knew that I wanted to use these two gorgeous 12x12 patterns together the minute that I saw them. The blue paper is from the More Adventures collection and the white one is from the Classic Woodgrains Mini-Collection. For this layout, they just worked so perfectly together! I did a little bit of hand-stitching in three spots on the layout to create a little bit of texture and added color. Under each of the 2x2 squares, you will be able to lift that little flap and find another scenery photo from our vacation adventure.
I used some cards from the part apart sheet in the More Adventures collection as well as some of the cars in the 3x4 and 4x6 cards pack from that same collection to create the details that would sit on top of my photos.
I finished off the layout by adding my tags full of journaling peeking out from behind my larger photo as well as some puffy stickers and regular flat stickers from my stash. Adding a few enamel dots was the perfect finishing touch.
Today, I challenge you to create a layout or a project using multiple photos. Make sure to stop by and check out the video for more on how I created this fun and interactive look!
