Hey Wild Whisper Fans, Katelyn here! For today's post, I created this Dear Santa Card. To create my card, I've used Nicole Wright Designs Baubles n' Bits - 6x6 Stamp Set, Canadian Winter Collection and the Talk Foodie to Me Stamp Set. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite Christmas beverage and learn how to recreate my Dear Santa Card at home.
To start, you'll need the Canadian Winter 12x12 Paper Pack. Cut the mitts paper to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Cut the grey woodgrain paper to 4" x 5 1/4". Cut the pink with grey branches paper to 3 3/4" x 5". Distress the edges of all of the papers.
Cut the cup paper to 1 1/8" x 4 1/2". Cut the deer paper to 1/2" x 4 3/4". Cut the navy woodgrain paper to 1/4" x 3 5/8". Choose a border strip and cut it down to 3 3/4". Distress the edges of all of the papers.
From the Cut Apart paper, fussy cut the deer out.
Apply Candy Apple PinkFresh Studio Ink to the label stamp from the Talk Foodie to Me 4x6 Stamp Set and stamp onto a piece of white cardstock. From Nicole Wright Designs - Baubles n' Bits 6x6 Stamp Set, you'll need the Dear Santa. Apply Stargazer PinkFresh Studio Ink to just the Dear Santa portion of the stamp and stamp in the middle of the label. Fussy cut the label out.
Adhere the 4" patterned paper to the 4 1/4" patterned paper. Adhere the 3 3/4" patterned paper to the 4" patterned paper.
Adhere the deer paper 1/4" from the left of the cup paper. Adhere the navy woodgrain paper 3/8" from the left and 3/8" from the bottom of the cup paper. Staple the border strip 5/8" from the left and 3/8" from the bottom of the cup paper. Foam square the cup paper 3/8" from the left and 1/4" from the bottom of the 3 3/4" patterned paper.
Adhere the deer to the layered strips as desired. Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the Dear Santa label 1/8" from the right and 5/8" from the bottom of the 3 3/4" patterned paper.
To finish the card, cut a cardbase out of white cardstock that measures 4 1/4" x 11", score at 5 1/2". Adhere the cardfront to the cardbase.
