Good evening all! We are busy prepping for our next show at the Calgary CSM Carnival this coming weekend. The show in Edmonton was such a blast and we learned so much, met incredible people, and walked away exhausted but very inspired! We can't wait to do it again in Calgary. We will be writing a special edition blog post on these wonderful events with tons of photos to document the experience, so keep an eye out for that soon.
Today we have Felicia Young sharing a wonderful layout using the Out & About collection. You may know already, but this collection is primarily travel themed, but look how versatile it is! Here Felicia has used it to document a special occasion photo of her daughter. Check out her process below!
We love how Felicia has really embraced the circle design here. There are many circle elements in the collection and she has also added some die cut circles.
Felicia says "This layout is about my daughter who is part of a museum exhibit for the Unity Center. She volunteers at the museum and has been invited to a lot of their soft openings. This one happened to include her! She has graduated with a BA in History and was very happy to part of the exhibit."
Look at those beautiful layers!
Black splattering adds a beautiful touch to the layout. Below you can see how Felicia stamped the circles on top of the pattern paper.
Thank you so much to Felicia for sharing today! To see more of her wonderful work, check out her blog, YouTube channel, and Instagram.
