Hello scrappy friends! Tracy here, and today I have a layout created using the first Wild Whisper collection I ever ordered, the Adventure Collection. Now, Wild Whisper has released a NEW Adventure Collection with so many beautiful embellishments available as well.
Here are the details on this layout, created using a photo of me and my life adventure partner.
My layout is created on a base of navy cardstock. I cut asymmetrical pieces of patterned paper to create the borders at the top and bottom of the layout and a 3" strip of pattern for the middle. I used a strip of corrugated cardboard for a little texture and then added my matted photo.
Then I added thin strips of patterned paper with an edge of white cardstock to the top and bottom of the layout using foam tape.
I cut the small journal card in half. I flipped the top bit and used the other side to journal on. The bottom half is torn at the bottom and I flagged a piece of another journal card to attach to the torn piece. Add these pieces above and below the middle patterned strip. I also added a couple of stickers to the journal portion.
Add a tag with a burlap string bow above the matted photo and another narrow strip of pattern below. Lastly I added a couple of wooden buttons for a little added texture.
