Watercolor Gift Bag and Card Set by Karla

Hello! Karla back today with a pretty gift set using the beautiful new Pam Bray - Watercolor 12x12 Paper Pack and the Floral 4x6 Stamp Set. The Floral stamp set is one of my favourites and I wanted to create a watercoloured effect with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and Bristol Cardstock. I started out by diecutting a scalloped rectangle from the Watercolor Paper to layer on the card base.

I used a Waffleflower die to cut out an embroidery hoop and covered it with clear Emerald Creek Embossing Powder for a shiny finish. I used branches of leaves from the Floral Stamp Set around the edges to create a wreath-like effect. The Wild Whisper Pine Dreams Embossing Powder was the perfect colour to add to my sentiment - and smelled awesome too!

The gift bag was quick and easy to create with the DIY Gift Bag Cricut Pattern in Design Space. The paper is such a fantastic weight to work with - it folded easily into a sturdy gift bag. I love that it is double sided, which worked perfectly for this bag with a fold-over edge. The scalloped design ended up matching the card too!

I cut out two gift tag layers, one from each side of the paper, and used my We R Memory Keepers Foil Quill to add the Enjoy sentiment. A couple more stamped flowers coloured again with the Zig Markers, in purple this time, add one more matching element.

I just love how this gift set turned out! And, it's great to have a card and gift bag ready for a special occasion. We would love to see what you create too with the Wild Whisper collections!! Be sure to share with us in our Facebook Group - Wild Whisper Community
