Hello there friends! It's Katelyn here and I am back with a brand new layout process video! It feels like it has been so long since I've been here on the Wild Whisper blog and I'm glad to back sharing projects again! Today's project features the Small Patterns collection and the More Adventures Collection.
I combined two contrasting shades of patterns to give the layout a bolder look. I then decided my color theme based on the cards from the More Adventures card pack. The beautiful shades of teal and yellow helped add pops of color to the layout. I kept the cards in a horizontal line to keep the flow of the stripes and repetitive patterns. I decided to build two clusters to help balance out the middle section.
The top right cluster is based off of a scrap of yellow paper from the More Adventures collection. I then used some Tim Holtz accents and a bit of washi tape from my stash. To complete this cluster, I decided to create a raining sequin mix. I used so many varieties of Wild Whisper sequins!
My bottom left cluster is the larger of the two. It features another card from the More Adventures collection and this one will serve as my journaling spot. The adorable little leaves are actually from the cut apart sheet from the More Adventures 12x12 Paper Pack. I also paired multiple sequin mixes for this bottom section as well.
