I don't know if this sounds like you or not but here goes....sometimes, I just need to create. I just need to sit at my desk and make something--anything. There are also times that I totally need to get a bunch of layouts on an easy layout in a small chunk of time. Raise your hand if you ever feel that way! Today, I am creating a layout with FOUR photos in a quick and easy layout design that you can totally replicate in a short block of time. BONUS!
I took a piece of black cardstock and made a simple grid with my four photos. Yep...they are all different sizes and that is totally okay! I took a few little scraps of patterned paper from Child at Heart and added them in the open areas to finish off the grid and make it look all intentional. My background paper is from the Child at Heart collection too (psssst.....that one mixes perfectly with the new Adventure collection.)
I added some green ticket washi tape to create a little shelf for my grid layout portion. Then, I fussy-cut some oversized letters to create my son's name as a huge element on the right edge of the page. These letters are simply postcards that I got on clearance at Hobby Lobby. You could totally recreate this look with printed letters from images online. I added just a few little embellishments and that was it.
Easy peasy! Quick and easy layout with a whopping FOUR photos! A few little banners and some Nuvo drops along with a notebook edge and the texture and dimension that I felt like I needed was all there too. Woohoo! I hope that you will find a short block of time in your day to create--a quick and easy grid makes it so much fun!
