Hello friends! Karla back today with a fun skating layout using the awesome new Wild Whisper Canadian Winter collection. This is such a beautiful collection with so many fantastic images - perfect for chilly wintry layouts, and definitely cold Canadian Winters ;) Today I'm sharing a scrapbook page about my youngest daughter, who is such a wild child! Of course she couldn't just take her time learning how to skate. She'd push her little skate trainer as fast as her small feet could move, whipping around the rink like nobody's business!
I used some of the images from the paper and card pack and love the cozy diecuts included in the ephemera pack. They were all perfect for layering together. I even cut the branding strips off the 12x12 papers to use! You can see the pretty snowflake strip below and the warm winter wishes sentiment cut from another strip above.
I think you should always have something hot to drink when you're doing any kind of chilly activity, so these cups of cocoa seemed like just the right thing to add!
I added some of the beautiful coordinating sequins to the layout around my clusters of embellishments, and I grabbed some Liquid Pearls and Stickles to add to various areas of the layout as well.
