Hey y'all, it's Co-Owner Heather here! 2022 is bringing new adventures and I am so excited to be challenging myself to create alongside the Wild Whisper Design Team this year!
For my first project I am sharing a couple pages in my 2021 December Daily album. This is a project that I have been creating since 2012, which makes this my 9th year doing it. It is absolutely hands-down my favourite project to create because the entire holiday season is my favourite time of the year and I love documenting daily life, but without the full commitment of something like Project Life.
In previous years I typically use a 6x8 pocket page album, but this year I decided to keep it really simple and use a traveller's notebook. As I expected, my stories will not be fitting into a single book, so I will actually have 2 notebooks in the works. As of right now, I have completed up until day 22 and will be continuing until the 31st. I have a ton of Christmas photos with both sides of the family and, with it being baby Sophie's first Christmas, I will be using sooo many of them!
In this post I want to share days 16 to 18 because I really like how they turned out. I'm using odds and ends from several of our Wild Whisper collections, but primarily the Wild Holiday Home digital collection. I just printed it at my local library on typical printer paper, so it is quite thin, but I am liking this for the traveller's notebook because then I can layer it up without adding too much overall bulk. In the middle of this spread I have attached a striped glassine bag to use as a pocket for my 2 tags that include extra photos and journaling.
