Hello friends! Karla back today with a look at how I'm documenting Coronovirus 2020 events in a Travelers Notebook. It took me a while to figure out how I wanted to document all these crazy quarantine events, but I eventually decided I wanted to remember this time for the way we did things differently, how little things changed that we took for granted, the price of gas and things we had trouble finding in the store that you could never have imagined! I want to look back on these events not as something that was stressful, but to see how we adapted and still lived our lives and even though it was different we made the best of it! The 6 Feet Apart Collection was, of course, perfect for embellishing!
The first two pages shown here are about activities and scheduling when my girls were doing school from home in the spring. I used the Project Life App to collage my photos into four 2x3 photos per sheet and printed them with my Canon Selphy printer. As I looked through my camera roll I thought of lots of different ideas for adding to this notebook! I used some of the 12x12 Paper Pack to cover the right side of the page and 3x4 journaling cards from the Card Pack to create a flap on the right and a pocket on the left.
I added lots of pieces from the Ephemera Pack to my pages, and just going through the pack gave me inspiration of things I wanted to note. I used one of the Flair Badges to create a cute coordinating paper clip, using a circle punch to decorate the back with a piece of patterned paper (check out the photo above to see that). Don't forget to check the Retailers Page if any of these items are sold out in the Wild Whisper shop!
You can see the cover and the first two pages of this notebook on my blog HERE!
