Hello, Jenn here!!! I wanted to share with you how I've been using the Canadian Winter collection to decorate my December Daily this year!
I've used the Canadian Winter ephemera and flair on days 2-7. We've had many wintery days here in Alberta at the beginning of this month so it's been really easy to add fun winter elements to my daily layouts.
I used a 4x6 card from the card pack in day 2 to create a tip-in for some journaling. I added a little ephemera quote to the card, and placed the snowflakes at the top and bottom of the page behind the card so that they show above and below the card as well.
I used the 'eh' journaling card on day 3 so I could document about the yummy Starbucks treats we had in between my daughter's dance classes. On day 4 I put the 'warm wishes' flair right in the middle of my pile of four pictures! The flair really separates all of the photos so you can take in each one.
Day 5 was a snowday, and our elves decided to take advantage by tobogganing down our stairs!!! They also brought the boys candy toboggans to enjoy on their day off :) I used the toboggan ephemera along with the ski goggles and the mountain ski club ephemera to embellish this page.
I skipped day 6 because our elves were a little lazy that day (oops) and moved on to day 7 where I used a 4x3 card to matte my elf photo. You'll also see, throughout the pages that I've mixed in some of my left over Christmas Comfort collection from last year! I think the two collections work really well together and since I used papers from both collections to make my journal, the ephemera from both collections fit really nicely on the pages. There are also bits and pieces from my stash as well.
