Hello friends! Karla back today with a scrapbook layout featuring the amazing new March Wild Whisper collection - Fandom! These papers were so easy to scrapbook with - I didn't specifically use them for the fan icons they represent, but they still worked perfectly to document special photos I wanted to get into my album. The book paper was just right to use with these photos of my daughter reading and some of her favourite books. She is a voracious reader - she reads and re-reads her books, and I totally love that about her. I remember how much I loved reading at her age and I'm so glad I've passed that along to her.
I used a stitched tag to diecut around one of the sentiments on the cut apart sheet in the 12x12 paper pack. I tucked it under the books that are fussy cut from another one of the papers. A few star stamps from the coordinating stamp set and gorgeous SpiegelMom Scraps sequins embellish the kraft background beautifully.
Even the pretty fairytale flair was perfect with the book theme! I used some Ranger Matte Medium to adhere it and then added a stamp and sentiment cut from the paper to the photo. A bit of Stickles on the stars in the background add a little more bling!
I fussy cut around the 'always' and embossed 'reading' with the beautiful new Rugged Red embossing powder using the Wild Whisper Brushed Lettering alpha stamp set. This powder is so neat to watch melt... as it melts the white flecks spread - so cool!
