A Christmas Mini Album with Cathy
Welcome back blog readers! Today we have Cathy Potosky
sharing a wonderful little Christmas mini album. We love how this neat book opens into a star. From here we will let Cathy take it away!
Have you all started your holiday crafting yet? Well you sure can now that the Home for the Holidays collection
is out! For my second project this month I created a star book. There are so many ways you can create this book, and I have done one before that was smaller, but this one is 6 inches tall and you can add tags and pictures for the holiday season.
I used solid white cardstock for the base of the book and it is 12x12 sheets cut in half. For the inside section I used my Wild Whisper papers and they are cut at 6X10. I used super sticky tape to put all the pieces together. After my ribbon was dry, I attached it with tape around the base of the book. I then I layered pieces of cardstock for my front and back covers which cover the ribbon.
After the inside layers were put in I added all my pockets. I used most of my card pack for the pockets and tags to put in them. For the tags I just round the corners, hole punched them and added matching ribbon.
And here is the finished project!
Hope you are well on your way for your holiday creating!! Thanks for popping in and seeing the DT's great projects with the Home for the Holidays Collection! -Cathy
