Hey Wild Whisper Fans, Katelyn here! I'm excited to be back on the blog today sharing my Winter Wishes & Warm Wishes Gift Tags perfect to add to any present this holiday season. To create my gift tags, you'll need the Canadian Winter Collection. Grab a cup of your favourite Christmas beverage and learn how to recreate my gift tags at home.
To start, you'll need two ivory tags that measure 2 1/2" x 3 1/2". Ink the edges of both tags using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the blue wood paper, die cut the ATC tag die out of the patterned paper. From the grey wood paper, die cut the ATC tag die out of the patterned paper. Ink the edges of both patterned paper tags using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the grey branch patterned paper, cut two pieces that measure 2 1/4" x 2 5/8". Round the corners on both papers. Flip one of the papers over so that the deer head is showing. Ink the edges of both papers using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Choose three border strips from the bottom of the papers. Cut one border strip to 2 1/4", cut the second border strip to 2 3/8" and cut the third borders trip to 2 1/8". Ink the edges of all three border strips using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the Cut Apart paper, fussy cut the snowshoes and hat. Ink the edges of the snowshoe and hat using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the Canadian Winter Ephemera Pack, you'll need the deer head with scarf, snowshoes, Canadian Winter rectangle, two blue gloves, maple leaf, winter wishes and black circle with hockey skate. Fussy cut the deer head with scarf, blue mitts and maple leaf. Ink the edges of all the images using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Choose one of the Flair buttons from the Canadian Winter Flair Pack.
Adhere the grey wood paper tag to the tag. Adhere the pink/grey branch paper to the grey wood paper tag.
Adhere the 2 1/4" border strip to the left hand side of the Canadian Winter rectangle, making sure that part of the border strip is showing. Foam square the Canadian Winter rectangle to the middle of the pink/grey branch paper. Adhere the hockey skate circle to the middle of the Canadian Winter rectangle.
Foam square the small snowshoes to the middle of the hockey skate circle. Adhere the deer head with a scarf to the middle of the snowshoes. Adhere the winter wishes sentiment to the bottom right side of the deer head.
Adhere four of the Canadian Winter Sequins to the tag as desired. To finish the tag, tie a piece of twine at the top through the hole.
Adhere the navy wood paper tag to the ivory tag. Adhere the deer head paper to the middle of the navy wood paper tag.
Adhere the 2 3/8" border strip 3/4" from the bottom and 1/8" from the left of the tag. Adhere the 2 1/8" border strip 3/8" from the bottom and 1/8" from the left of the tag.
Foam square the large snowshoes to the middle of the deer head paper. Adhere the maple leaf to the middle of the large snowshoes.
Foam square the first blue glove to the top left side of the large snowshoe. Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the other blue glove to the right of the first glove. Adhere the hat slightly overtop of the gloves. Adhere the flair button to the left of the hat.
Adhere three of the Canadian Winter Sequins to the tag as desired. To finish the tag, tie a piece of twine at the top through the hole.
