Someday Home Decor Piece by Katelyn

Hey Wild Whisper Fans, Katelyn here! I'm thrilled to be back on the blog today sharing with you one more project for this month. My Someday Home Decor Piece which features the awesome Fandom Collection. To create my piece, I've used the Paper Pack, Ephemera, Card Pack and Flair from the Fandom Collection. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my home decor piece at home.
To start, you'll need a bingo card that measures 4 1/2" x 6". Ink the edges of the card using Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Choose two border strips from the patterned papers out of the Fandom collection. Cut one border strip down to 4" and cut the other border strip down to 3 3/4". Ink the edges of the border strips using Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the grey castle patterned paper, cut a piece that measures 3 3/4" x 5 1/8". Distress the edges. Ink the edges of the patterned paper using Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the paper patterned paper, cut a piece that measures 4" x 5 1/2". Distress the edges. Ink the edges of the patterned paper using Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the star patterned paper, cut a piece that measures 4 1/4" x 5 5/8". Distress the edges. Ink the edges of the patterned paper using Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the large castle patterned paper, cut a piece that measures 4" x 6". Distress the edges. Ink the edges of the patterned paper using Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the cut apart patterned paper, fussy cut the the tape out. Ink the edges of the tape using Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Out of the card pack, you'll need the owl post and someday 3" x 4" cards as well as the 4" x 6" card with tapes on it. Cut the 4" x 6" card down to 3 1/4" x 4 1/4". Fussy cut the owl post image out of the card. From the left over tapes on the 4" x 6" card, fussy cut one tape out. Distress the edges of the someday card and the 3 1/4" card. Ink the edges of both cards and fussy cut images using Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Choose a Flair button out of the Flair package.
From the Ephemera package, you'll need the grey castle, four stars, the small books, two lifesavers and one small blue tape. Fussy cut the white off of the grey castle, the small books, one of the lifesavers and the small blue tape. Ink the edges of all of the images using Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Adhere the grey castle paper to the paper patterned paper. Adhere the paper patterned paper to the star patterned paper. Adhere the star patterned paper to the large castle patterned paper. Adhere the large castle patterned paper to the bingo card.
Adhere the 4" border strip 1 1/2" from the bottom of the bingo card. Adhere the 3 3/4" border strip 1 1/8" from the bottom of the bingo card.
Adhere the someday card to the 3 1/4" piece of patterned paper. Adhere the small blue tape 1/4" from the top and 5/8" from the right of the 3 1/4" card. Foam square the 3 1/4" card to the middle of the grey castle patterned paper.
In the bottom right hand corner of the someday card, use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the grey castle. Adhere the blue lifesaver and the half tape image around the grey castle as desired. In the bottom left hand corner of the someday card, adhere the small book stack.
Adhere the Flair button slightly overtop of the small books. To finish off around the saying, adhere the stars as desired.
