Hey Wild Whisper Fans, Katelyn here! For today's post, I created this Let Your Feet Wander Wall Hanging. To create my wall hanging, I've used the No Place Like Home Collection, Stamp Sets from the Floral and Where to Next? Collections as well as the Carefree Riverbed Stamp Set by Pam Bray Designs. Grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my wall hanging at home.
From the No Place Like Home Paper Pack, you'll need the house paper. Die cut a 4 1/4" Fitted Fishtail out of the paper. Fussy cut five houses out of the paper. Ink the edges of the fishtail and five houses using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Next, you'll need the brick paper. Die cut a 3 3/4" Fitted Fishtail out of the paper. Flip the paper over and fussy cut three tea cups out of the paper. Ink the edges of the fishtail and three tea cups using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Die cut a 3 1/4" Fitted Fishtail out of a piece of white cardstock. Apply Cornflower Blue Archival Ink to the Carefree Riverbed 6x6 Stamp Set and stamp onto the fishtail. Ink the edges of the fishtail using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Next, you'll need the green damask paper. Die cut a 2 3/4" Fitted Fishtail out of the paper. Ink the edges of the fishtail using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Choose two border strips from the bottom of the patterned papers. Cut one border strip down to 3 1/2". Cut the other border strip down to 3 1/4". Ink the edges of the border strips using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the Where to Next? Stamp Set, you'll need the circle with border and the Let your Feet wander quote. Apply Cornflower Blue Archival Ink to the circle with border to a piece of white cardstock. Apply Shadow Grey Archival Ink to the quote and stamp onto a piece of white cardstock. Fussy cut around the circle with border. Fussy cut the quote out. Ink the edges of the circle with border and quote using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Next, you'll need the three bunch floral from the Florals Stamp Set. Apply Shadow Grey Archival Ink to the stamp and stamp onto a piece of watercolour cardstock. Colour the flower in using your favourite colouring medium. I used a waterbrush and Scribble Sticks. Fussy cut the flower out. Ink the edges of the flower using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Adhere the 3 3/4" fishtail to the 4 1/4" fishtail.
Adhere the 2 3/4" fishtail to the 3 1/4" fishtail. Foam square the 3 1/4" fishtail to the 3 3/4" fishtail.
Adhere the 3 1/4" border strip 1/4" from the left and 1 3/4" from the bottom of the 4 1/4" fishtail.
Adhere the 3 1/2" border strip 1/4" from the left and 2" from the bottom of the 4 1/4" fishtail.
Use foam squares to adhere the floral image to the left hand side of the fishtails. Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the circle with border 1 3/8" from the top and 1" from the left of the 4 1/4" fishtail. Foam square the quote to the middle of the circle with border.
Adhere three houses above the circle with border and quote. Adhere the other two houses to the bottom left side of the circle with border. Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the three tea cups as desired to the right of the quote.
To finish the wall hanging, punch two holes at the top of the fishtail. Tie a piece of white twine through the two holes at the top of the fishtail.
