Gelli Print Card Set by Katelyn

Hey Wild Whisper Fans, Katelyn here! For today's post, I created this Gelli Print Card Set. If you tuned into my Facebook Live on July 5, I shared how I created the backgrounds. The finished cards feature the Floral CollectionPlay in the Dirt Collection, Pam Bray Designs - Simplicity Paper Pack and a variety of stamps and stencils.
To start, we'll create the Hi cards.
The background papers are 4" x 5 1/4" white cardstock. Gelli print the papers using Dina Wakley Acrylic Paint - Eggplant, Blushing and Orchid as well as the Nicole Wright Designs - Disjointed Stencil. Once the paint has dried, the stamping on the papers is the Nicole Wright Designs - Birch Bark 6x6 Stamp Set using Jet Black Archival Ink. Ink the edges of the papers using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the Simplicity Paper Pack, you'll need the pinwheel flower paper, the cut apart paper and the paper with chicken wire and flowers on it. Fussy cut four pinwheel flowers. One pinwheel flower will be flipped over. Flip the pinwheel flower paper over and cut a strip, trim it down to 4 1/2". Cut the chicken wire with flowers on it into two pieces - 1" x 4 3/4" and 7/8" x 4 3/4". From the cut apart paper, fussy cut the scallop border and flowers in vases. Cut the scallop border down to 4 7/8". Sand the edges of all of the papers.
From the Back to Basics - Brush Script 6x8 Stamp Set, you'll need the h & i letters. Apply Ocean Breeze Ink to the letters and stamp onto a piece of white cardstock. From the Back to Basics - Capital Letters 6x8 Stamp Set, you'll need the H & I letters. Apply Ocean Breeze Ink to the letters and stamp onto a piece of white cardstock. Fussy cut around the hi words.
Adhere the 7/8" chicken wire paper 3/8" from the left of one of the background papers. Staple the curvy border 5/8" from the left and 3/8" from the bottom of the background paper. Adhere the 1" chicken wire paper 1/4" from the left and 1/4" from the bottom of the other background papers. Staple the scallop border 3/4" from the left and 1/4" from the top of the background paper.
Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the three pinwheel flowers to the bottom portion of the curvy border as desired. Adhere the script hi word on the pinwheel flowers as desired.
Adhere the last pinwheel flower 1 1/8" from the right and 3/4" from the bottom of the background paper with the scallop. Use foam squares to adhere the vase with flowers 1/2" from the left and 5/8" from the bottom of the background paper. Adhere the HI word to the right of the vase with flowers as desired.
Cut two cardbases out of white cardstock that measure 4 1/4" x 11", score at 5 1/2". Adhere the cardfront to the cardbase. To finish both cards, add white dots with a gel pen to each cardfronts as desired.
