Crazy Motivated Scrapbook Layout by Katelyn

Hey Wild Whisper Fans, Katelyn here! I'm excited to be back on the blog today sharing with you my Crazy Motivated Scrapbook Layout which features the Crazy Motivated Collection. This layout holds a special place in my heart as it documents the first 5km race I've ever run and I managed to finish it in 40 minutes and not hurt myself. So, to create my layout, I've used a variety of the papers from the paper pack, Flair, the Card Pack and the Ephemera. Grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my layout at home.
To start, cut the border strip off of the cloud paper from the Crazy Motivated Paper Pack. Ink the edges of the paper using Ground Espresso Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the bicycle paper, you'll need to cut three pieces. The first piece measures 3 3/4" x 5 1/4" and the second piece measures 1/2" x 3". Flip the paper over and cut a piece that measures 3 1/2" x 5 1/4". Ink the edges of all the papers using Ground Espresso Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the circle paper, cut out three circles. Ink the edges of the circles using Ground Espresso Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Cut the Green square out of the cut apart paper. Flip it over so that the words are showing. Ink the edges of the square using Ground Espresso Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Choose two border strips and cut them off of the patterned papers. Cut one border strip down to 6". Cut the second border strip down to 5 3/4". At the end of each border strip, tear a bit off. Ink the edges of the border strips using Ground Espresso Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the Crazy Motivated Card Pack, you'll need the fruit 4" x 6" card, the blue berry card, the banner card and the starburst card. Cut the blue berry card into three pieces - the saying portion 1" x 3" and the other two pieces 1 1/2", you'll only need one of the 1 1/2" pieces. Fussy cut the banners out of the card, giving you four banners. Ink the edges of all the pieces using Ground Espresso Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the Crazy Motivated Ephemera Pack, you'll need the red hand, healthier word, stronger word, braver word and unstoppable word. Fussy cut around the red hand. Ink the edges of the hand and words using Ground Espresso Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the Crazy Motivated Flair package, choose one flair button.
Adhere the 3 3/4" bicycle paper to the 4" fruit card. Adhere the photo on an angle to the bicycle paper.
Adhere the 3 1/2" orange circle paper to the 4" fruit card, so that 3/8" is showing. Adhere the starburst card to the orange circle paper, so that 1/2" is showing. Foam square the fruit card 2 1/8" from the left and 2 5/8" from the top of the cloud paper.
In the top right hand corner of the photo mat, adhere two of the circles. In the bottom left hand corner of the photo mat, adhere the other circle.
Adhere the word square 2 1/4" from the top and 2 5/8" from the left of the cloud paper. Adhere the crazy motivated saying 1 5/8" from the left and 4 1/2" from the bottom of the cloud paper. Adhere the blueberry piece 2 3/4" from the left and 2 3/4" from the bottom of the cloud paper. Adhere the bicycle piece 2 3/8" from the left and 3" from the bottom of the cloud paper.
Adhere the 6" border strip 2 3/4" from the left and 4 1/4" from the bottom of the cloud paper. Adhere the 5 3/4" border strip 3" from the left and 4" from the bottom of the cloud paper. Adhere the hand and fair button to the left of the border strip.
Adhere the four banners down the right hand side of the starburst paper, leave 1/8" in between each banner. Use foam squares and adhesive to adhere one of the words to each of the banners.
Here are a few closeup photos of the finished Layout.
