Hi friends!
Khristina here and today I am creating with the Crazy Motivated Collection which was the January release. I am in love with the colors in this collection and they just happen to work perfectly with some new indoor rock climbing photos I had of my daughter. (*I printed my two photos at 3x4 size on one 4x6 photo at home using the Project Life app.)
I knew that because there was so much cream in my photos, that they would look perfect and really pop on a black background. I still wanted to include bright colors (like the rocks in the photos) so I decided to create my own triangular divisions on the background with the two main patterned papers that I wanted to use.
I also found a couple of pocket page cards from the same Crazy Motivated collection that I used as layers behind my photos. In the ephemera pack for that collection, I was able to include the scalloped frame crazy motivated word phrase (on dimensional adhesive) and the little label die cuts as well as the four labels that I used to decorate the top left corner. The flair badge is from the new Fandom collection from Wild Whisper as well.
Finally, I wanted a bold title that really brought in the yellow color from the rocks in the photo as well as the movement of climbing up the wall and using all the little rock pieces to get there. In my mind, that equated to a hand-stitched title in a bold block font. I simply found a font that I liked and printed the word from the computer. Then, I made my stitching holes around each letter and finished it off with bright yellow stitching. Today, I encourage you to use a black background with pops of bright colors! That is one of my absolute favorite page composition strategies and I always love the results.
