Beautiful Things Gift Envelope by Katelyn

Hey Wild Whisper Fans, Katelyn here! For today's post, I created this Beautiful Things Gift Envelope. To create my gift envelope, I've used the BRAND NEW Handmade Collection. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my Beautiful Things Gift Envelope at home.
To start, you'll need the black striped paper out of the Handmade 12x12 Paper Pack. Die cut the envelope from the Postale Thinlits Die out of the striped patterned paper. Distress the edges of the envelope. Ink the edges of the envelope using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Next, you'll need the quilt paper out of the Handmade 12x12 Paper Pack. Die cut the 3 1/8" x 2" rectangle from the Postale Thinlits die. Cut a piece of white cardstock that measures 1 3/4" x 2 7/8". Distress the edges of both pieces. Ink the edges of the pieces using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Choose two border strips from the bottom of the patterned papers out of the Handmade 12x12 Paper Pack. Cut one border strip down to 3 1/4". Cut the other border strip down to 3". Ink the edges of both border strips using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Out of the Handmade Ephemera Package, you'll need a large quilt block, three buttons, two paint tubes, thread, scissors and one of the quotes. Fussy cut around all of the pieces except the quote. Distress the edges of the quilt block and quote. Ink the edges of all of the pieces using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Adhere the white cardstock piece to the quilt rectangle patterned paper piece.
Adhere the envelope together.
Adhere the quilt block to the bottom left corner of the front of the envelope. Adhere the two border strips as desired to the right of the quilt block.
Adhere the scissors and two paint tubes to the left of the border strips. Use foam squares to adhere the thread spool to the bottom portion of the paint tubes.
Adhere the quote to the right of the paint tube and thread spool. Adhere the three buttons as desired on the front of the envelope.
Here are a few closeup photos of the finished gift envelope.
