So it turns out that this is the week of mini albums! To follow up Giorgia's travel mini from earlier this week, today we have Tori Bissell with her completed Canada mini! She began the album assembly in her earlier post this month and now she is showing us all of the photos, embellishments, and journaling that she has added. Below is Tori's process and then she will take it away!
Hi everyone! Today I have part two of the travel themed mini album that I shared with you last week. After showing you how I put together the envelope mini album, I just knew I wanted to show you how I added photos and embellishments. This mini album was so much fun to put together - and the recipient, my friend Esther who had traveled from the UK to Canada, just loved it. 
I started by printing off all of the photos I wanted to include and gathering all of the adorable journaling cards from the Out and About collection. I backed many of the photos with journaling cards or left over scrap paper from making the mini album.  The best part was that everything coordinated so perfectly! I decided to go really simple on the embellishments in order to keep the finished album pretty flat. So I used branding strips, fussy cut out images from the journaling cards and the cut apart sheet and left over scraps, to create cards and inserts to go into each of the envelopes. I finished those off by adding some stamping (with a roller date stamp), some cork hearts and some gold sequins. 
I love how this mini album gave me the perfect way to document my friend Esther’s visit to Canada, including all the site-seeing we did. I even included some memorabilia like tickets, maps, and post cards. I added a little bit of journaling about the places we visited and the people we met and I left some blank journaling spaces so Esther could add in her own notes. My favourite part - giving the completed mini album to Esther before she left to go home. I love that scrapbooking gives us this incredible opportunity to bless the people we care about.
