We love how she used the same wood veneer "journey" title as a cut file for her title here. The stitching across it adds texture and interest, while still sticking to her clean and simple style. Hey crafty friends! I'm not sure about you, but I am SO looking forward to some cooler weather. I'm scrapping a picture today from our trip to the Pacific Northwest, where the weather was perfect in late May.
I've been using the Out & About card pack for my projects lately.. I love that they are so versatile and work well for full page layouts too.
For this project, I started with white cardstock and splattered a little charcoal colored paint on the background for some dimension. I layered a few different blue cards behind my photo to make it pop. I loved the stacked suitcases on one of the cards so much but wanted to break up the grid style a little so I fussy cut it out and let it stand on its own with some dimensional tape.
I love to add black for some "pop" so I chose to let one of the 4x6 size cards be the focal point of my project - how fun is that compass!?
I used the wood veneer design as a cut file for my "journey" title and love how it looks layered over my grid design. Some tabs, stamping, and sequins from the coordinating sequin mix finish off my project. Thanks for checking it out!
