Hello all! Tori Bissell is back today with another wonderful layout. We love that Tori pours her heart, soul, and feelings into everything that she creates. This project is no exception and it is even more thrilling that she has made a layout about being on our design team. It brings us such joy that anyone would be this pleased to be a part of our company. We truly appreciate all of our team members and everything they do for us! Hi Everyone, Tori here today with a scrapbook layout. Many months ago when Heather and Suzy asked me to join the Wild Whisper Design Team I was completely blown away an honoured. I truly feel so amazed that they would ask me!
Well as soon as they asked me I knew I would just HAVE to make a scrapbook page about it. And what better way to document being asked to be on the design team, than using Wild Whisper products. I decided to use the design team image they provided the team with as my photo. I also decide to use my favourite supplies from the last few months. I went with this GORGEOUS blue patterned paper and journaling card from the No Place Like Home collection that I’ve been holding.
I started by creating the mixed media background and journaling card. I used a plain white piece of yardstick and some blue and green water colours to make this messy wash. I also used the really awesome Soda Fiz stencil to create a really cool splatter effect on my background. By dripping the paint down one of the journaling cards I was able to die that card into the background.
Once my background and journaling card was dry I layer my photo with some of the incredible cork stars from the shop. I felt like it needed just a little more paper so I cut a couple lines from one of the World’s Best patterned papers. I finished the layout off by adding my journaling and a few enamel dots from my stash.
I love that this layout gives me the opportunity to share about how excited I was to join the Wild Whisper Design team and I get to use some of my favourite supplies. It’s like the best of both worlds!
