Afternoon Snuggles by Natalie
Natalie Dill is back on today as our guest designer! She is sharing this adorable and colourful layout of her cute fur baby. We will let her take it from here!
Natalie here, and I love this colorful Fur Babies collection! I don't document my sweet dog as much as I should, so this gave me good reason to tell some stories about her sweet face. We have a maltese-yorkie named Lola who is 9 and a half years old.
Any ombre paper is my jam! I had to use this entire sheet of bone paper as the background. I loved the coordinating pieces to use as layers behind my photos.
I used the sweet little striped piece to die cut some geometric hearts and flowers to girly up the page for my Lola. Individual pom poms compliment the pom pom garland used to back the photos.
I had printed the photo in color and black and white. I loved the blue in the photo and how well it went with this collection, but decided to do a shadow photo with some foam pops behind the color photo.
I used this photo to tell about how Lola comes for afternoon snuggles the same time, after I make a cuppa every afternoon! She is just the sweetest. Dogs are definitely the best friends and therapy!
I love to add in sequins, and I used the pom poms in the same manner on this page. I also traced around the alphas with a marker to make them pop because they were not standing out as well as I liked from the background.
I sewed some lime twine with a zig zag stitch around the entire page. I love how sturdy the Wild Whisper papers are - they take sewing like champs!
I probably never would have thought to put lime and maroon together, but I LOVE itA! It's always nice when a fun collection is unique and creates color pallets you've never used.
To make this adorable collection even better, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to animal rescue organizations! Awww - all the heart eyes and feels over here. Pets are the best!
Thank you so much to Natalie for guest designing again for us today! We hope that you will check out her blog, YouTube channel, and Instagram to see more of her wonderful work!
