2 Page Layout feat Adventure by Jenn

Hello, Jenn here with a 2 page layout featuring the Adventure collection as well as a few others.  I used a 12x12 sketch from the Stretch the Sketch series and stretched it into two pages, and also used a little Pinterest inspiration for the Off The Board series to come up with the theme.

I started by pulling our any scraps of 12x12 papers I had left from the Adventure collection, and found a few pieces from the Masculine collection, Strong and Free, Lakelife, TinBits Travel, and even Wild Whimsy that all worked well together.  I split a piece of navy blue cardstock across the two pages that would tie them both together and ground all my scraps.  Then I split all of my scraps in two, one piece for each side, and fussy cut my mountains and two embellishments so I would have everything ready to piece together.

Using the sketch as a general guide, I layered my scraps together on each side of the layout, mirror image to each other.  I used my pictures to help me piece all of the layers together so that you could see the patterns on each piece.  Once my layers and pictures were down, I placed the Tinbits Travel mountains across the two pages, which again, helps to connect both pages together as one layout.  I also added some manufacturer's strips to either side of the mountains so they look like one long piece that runs right across both pages.  This was a good place to add my title as well.  I used Dear Lizzy copper coloured thickers for my title Cat Creek Falls.

I left the embellishments really simple.  I picked a few die cuts from the Adventures ephemera pack to place around the layout.  A couple of bears, some labels, and a small title for each side, along with the elements I fussy cut from Tinbits Travel and the mountains I fussy cut from the Masculine paper.  The row of triangles from the Adventure stamp set, stamped on each side finished off this fun layout!!!

I love how this turned layout out and that I was able to get 10 pictures documented.  I think the black and white mountains are so striking and add a lot of depth to the layout.  If you'd like to see how I pulled this layout together and get more information on the Stretch the Sketch, and Off The Board series please head over to my process video.  You can also use my discount code DTJENN at check out for 10% off your next Wild Whisper purchase :)  Thanks so much for stopping by, and until next time, Happy Scrapping :)

Jenn :)
