Stay Paw-sitive Cards by Julia

Julia Chupik is sharing a couple of cute little animal cards with us today! Julia will take it from here with her tutorial!
Hi! Julia here and welcome back to the Wild Whisper blog and my 2nd project for the Fur Babies Collection. This week I decided to create 2 cards - a crazy dog one & a crazy cat one.
I started with a piece of 8.5"x 11" white cardstock and trimmed it into 2 - 4.25"x 5.5" card bases. I trimmed down the card front to 3.5" wide so the inside of the card was exposed.
I trimmed out some pieces from the Fur Babies pattern paper. The "Stay Paw-sitive" sentiment was trimmed out of the journal card paper.
I die cut it using the Stitched Oval Thinlit die from Sizzix. The Crazy Dogs & Cats were stamped on watercolour paper and painted with watercolour paints. I then die-cut these out with the coordinating die sets.
I inked the edges of the paper pieces and card base with Seedless Preserves Oxide Ink on the Crazy Dog card.
The Crazy Cat card was inked with Peacock Feathers Oxide ink.
Thanks so much for checking out the blog today. We want to see your fur baby creations this month.
