Hello friends! Karla back today with the brand new Wild Whisper Designs collection for May - Talk Foodie To Me. This is such a fun, bright collection of papers, cards, stamps, ephemera, sequins and flair! I couldn't help pulling lots of pizza themed products for my layout and coordinating pocket page today to document my oldest daughter's birthday that we celebrated at Una Pizza in Calgary, Alberta a few weeks ago. And, yes, the pizza was awesome!!
I really love the pop of pink on this paper! I layered it on a white cardstock background, cutting it into two vertical strips so I could make it go as far as possible of course ;) I used a black pen to hand draw lines around different layers to create a handmade look.
The Talk Foodie To Me Ephemera Pack has so many awesome images and I grabbed the 'tasty' diecut to use as part of my title, popping it up with foam dots.
I saved the menu from online and printed it as a 3x4 photo using the Project Life App. I used Wild Whisper Rugged Red Embossing Powder to add a few spicy details to the pizza ephemera and around the 'Nom, Nom' diecut, using a Versamark Pen to get it to stick to the desired areas.
I love using pocket pages to scrap extra photos for an event, and I love that I can dress them up like mini pages in each pocket! The Card Packs are so awesome for this.
I used one of those fun cards in the top pocket, adding a couple sequins from the Talk Foodie To Me Sequin Collection and added a hand drawn line to coordinate with the layout.
I layered on some Ephemera as well as some fussy cut words from the paper pack to create an awesome pocket page. I now have two pages of memories with fun photos and embellishments!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to head over to the Wild Whisper Designs shop to check out these fun new products and have some scrappy fun yourself!
