Today we have Rachel Stewart sharing a gorgeous page created for her Project Life album. We adore how she has used the card pack and other coordinating embellishments to create this simple and stunning pocket page. Her mountain range photos coordinate perfectly with the colours in the Out & About collection, so it all just works seamlessly. From here we will let Rachel explain how her page came together!
I love the Out & About collection SO much! The gorgeous blues and title cards are perfect for any time spent exploring. I've been a little behind on project life the past few months so I wanted to create a pocket page as my first project with this collection.
I love using black mixed in with colorrs because I think it provides a great anchor without letting things become too busy - I love that there are just enough black cards and accents to make this happen.
I wanted the coordinating sequin mix to be a focal point in this spread - I love using embellishments in pockets that don't quite fill it up, it adds a fun whimsical feel.
The watercolor globe filler card is probably my favorite - I used my Silhouette to cut a tiny location icon and stapled it onto the the globe and I love the effect! I also used a few additional embellishments from my stash - including the circle "great story" card to mimic the circles used on a few cards.
I finished my spread with a few stamps and a black painted cork arrow, you can find these little guys in the shop! One thing I still really want to get my hands on is the Out & About stamp set.
