Mountain Air, Worth Explaining & Camp Vibes Card by Katelyn

Hey Wild Whisper Fans, Katelyn here! For today's post, I created this Mountain Air, Worth Explaining & Camp Vibes Card perfect for giving to that special outdoor enthusiast in your life. To create my card, I've used the Camp More, Worry Less Collection. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite spring beverage and learn how to recreate my Mountain Air, Worth Explaining & Camp Vibes Card at home.
To start, choose three pieces of patterned paper out of the Camp More, Worry Less 12x12 Paper Pack. From the first patterned paper, die cut a 4 1/2" rectangle. From the second patterned paper, die cut a 4" rectangle. From the third patterned paper, die cut a 3 3/4" rectangle. Distress the edges of all of the patterned papers. Ink the edges of the patterned papers using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the bottom of two of the patterned papers, cut off the border strips. Cut one border strip down to 4". Cut the other border strip down to 3 3/4". Ink the edges of both border strips using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the patterned paper that has all of the word strips on them, cut out the three strips. Ink the edges of all three strips using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the Camp More, Worry Less Card Pack, you'll need one of the 3x4 cards and the card with the backpack on it. Fussy cut the back pack out. Die cut a 2 1/2" rectangle out of the 3x4 card. Distress the edges of the rectangle. Ink the edges of the rectangle as well as backpack using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the Camp More, Worry Less - Tents - Ephemera, you'll need the compass and two paddles. Fussy cut the compass and two paddles out. Ink the edges of the compass and two paddles using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Adhere the 4" rectangle to the 4 1/2" rectangle. Adhere the 3 1/2" rectangle to the 4" rectangle.
Adhere the 4" border strip 7/8" from the bottom and all the way to the left hand side of the 4" rectangle. Adhere the 3 3/4" border strip 1/2" from the bottom and 1/4" from the left of the 4" rectangle.
Wrap twine around the middle of the two border strips three times and tie a knot on the left hand side.
Adhere the compass to the left hand side of the backpack. Adhere the two paddles as desired to the right hand side of the backpack. Foam square the backpack to the middle of the 2 1/2" rectangle. Foam square the 2 1/2" rectangle 1/2" from the bottom and 1/4" from the right of the 3 1/2" rectangle. The twine will sit overtop of the 2 1/2" rectangle.
Use foam squares and adhesive to adhere the three word strips to the left hand side of the backpack as desired.
Cut a cardbase out of kraft cardstock that measures 5 3/4" x 9", score at 4 1/2". Adhere the cardfront to the cardbase.
Here are a few closeup photos of the finished card.
