Hello friends! Karla here today with two pretty projects using the NEW Nicole Wright Media Assemblage paper, Strength of the Season Sequins and the beautiful Wild Whisper Floral 4x6 Stamp Set. I am also really excited to be doing a Live Video on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine Facebook Page on Thursday March 19th @ 10 am MST!! This lovely Grateful Card is what I'm going to show you exactly how to make - and you're not going to believe how quick and easy it is to put it together with the beautiful Media Assemblage Paper!
I loved how this card turned out so much that I decided to whip up a tag too! I always love diecutting with the Wild Whisper papers, so after cutting out an oval and a Happy Birthday, along with a tag using Tim Holtz Metallic Confections Kraft-stock, I added a lovely floral image from the Floral 4x6 Stamp Set.
I stamped one of the floral images directly on the Media Assemblage paper with Versamark Ink and then used Emerald Creek Gold Doubloon Embossing Powder, which is a fine powder and embosses beautifully.
For the card I layered various papers from the collection along with some of the Tim Holtz Metallic Confections Kraft-stock papers and then added the larger embossed flower image. I fussy cut around it and used foam tape to pop it up.
I used Eileen Hull's Glistening Glass Embossing Powder, which is a thick, clear powder to the diecut 'grateful' (as I did for happy birthday above) and it adds an enamel type effect.
I added sequins from the Strength of the Season collection - which match the Media Assemblage beautifully, by the way! and tucked in a few more embossed floral sprigs.
Thanks so much for stopping by! **Don't forget to mark your calendars to join me on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine Facebook Page Thursday, March 19 at 10 am MST to see a LIVE demo on how to put this card together!
