Live Love Bark by Julia

Welcome Wild Whisper fans to my 4th and final Fur Babies creation for April. It has been a wonderful month of fantastic inspiration from the entire design team.

This week I have created a 12x12 layout featuring my parents fur baby, Winston. He is quite a character and his smile, crooked teeth & all, just add to his charm.

I started with the 12x12 pattern paper of the dog and paw print images. I matted the larger photo on orange cardstock & left the smaller photo unmatted.

I layered each photo over pieces of other pattern paper from the Fur Babies collection. Most of these were scraps left over from my other projects. I inked the edges of these Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide with my ink blending tool.

The water coloured Crazy Dog was also a leftover from another project that I adhered with 3D foam adhesive. Once I had my photos matted on to the layered patterned papers I adhered them to my 12x12 base.

I used another scrap to write down the date and Winstons age before tucking it under the photo. I stamped his name with the Tim Holtz Cling Foam Alpha set - Lower Type and Versafine Black Onyx Ink.

The Live Love Bark sentiment is from the sheet of journal card from the Fur Babies Collection. I trimmed it out and adhered it down with 3D foam. To finish my page off I splattered black acrylic paint over after covering the photos with some paper towel to protect them. I inked the edges of the entire layout with Black Soot Distress Oxide to give it a bit of a frame.
