We are super pleased to welcome Khristina Sorge to the 2018 Design Team! She guest designed for us last year and is able to create such gorgeous projects with our product. We had the pleasure of meeting her at Creativation in Phoenix, as she is a local. Sara Mishler was also great fun to meet and we had a blast with them both!

Hi everyone! I am super excited to be sharing my very first design team project today and kicking off a new month of amazing collections! The new gorgeous February mini collection is called Classic Woodgrains and the minute I saw this dark turquoise one, I just knew it had to be my background. I decided to use a clouds cut file to pair with this great airplane sunset photo that my son took from a vacation we went on over the summer. Adding some patterned paper elements from the Out & About collection added a little bit of playful fun to the layout and gave me a great place to add some subtle embellishments.
I also included a few of the 3x4 pocket scrapbooking cards layered together to create a fun title look overlapping my photo! The wood veneer airplanes were also a perfect addition to this page about our travel memories.
I just love how that little fussy-cut globe looks paired with a heart enamel shape! And that was it…this one came together pretty quickly and lets me showcase that gorgeous woodgrain paper too!
