Hi friends! It’s Karla back again with another project using the amazing Wild Whisper September Farmhouse Collection. I have really enjoyed working with the beautiful images and colours in the papers and ephemera as well as pairing them with some fun farm photos!
Today, I’m using the Farmers Market theme to document pictures I took on a weekend outing with my family at the Cochrane Farmers Market in Alberta. If you are in the area it is definitely a market worth checking out! I started off layering a piece of white cardstock on a border of black and white patterned paper from the 12x12 paper pack and then layered more paper, cut into 3” squares, on the background to create a grid look for this layout.
The ‘Farmers Market’ square and horseshoe are pre-printed onto one of the papers that is a cut apart sheet full of lovely images. I layered on my photos, which I collaged with the Project Life App and printed as small images on a 4x6” photo. I really love the diecut ephemera pack from this collection with all the wonderful images like the wheat I popped up with foam dots.
I added the black and white diamond embellishment from the diecut pack to bring in the pattern from the border. The ‘Certified Farm Fresh’ diecut was just perfect for this market layout, and I added a cork arrow for extra texture. A few more foam dots added dimension underneath.
I added some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist splatters in silver and green by unscrewing the covers and tapping the nozzles. Some shiny sequins from SpiegelMom Scraps add even more interest.
I stamped a tiny heart from an older Wild Whisper stamp set and journaled directly on the 3x3 paper after adding my photo of a stand at the market that featured delicious sauerkraut spice mixes. My girls still rave about the Beet and Dill salt we picked up!
Thanks so much for stopping by to check out what I’ve been up to, and to Wild Whisper for having me on as a Guest Designer for August and September! Be sure to check out this wonderful Farmhouse Collection and have an amazing day!!
