Hello Wild Whisper friends!
Today I have a layout using the gorgeous new collection Forever and Always, I am still swooning over this collection! It inspired me to find some photos of hubby and I together (he doesn't often get scrapped lol!).
I wanted to create a romantic layout so of course I had to use a heart. I have used a geometric cut file from the Silhouette Design store and sized it for my layout.
I went away from my usual white background as the peach ombre paper was too pretty to cut up.
I have then paper pieced my geometric heart cut file using papers from the collection.
I fussy cut some of the flowers from the floral paper and tucked some in the heart and others foam taped and attached over the top of the heart.
I always end up sewing on my layouts and so I machine stitched around my heart to add definition.
I then cut several different sized butterflies, there are so many to choose from so if you have a Silhouette Cameo or similar choose one to your liking, I went 3D with mine to add some height to my layout. I used the peach small flower print paper to cut my butterflies and finished off with creating centres with some NUVO Crystal Drops white.
I really wanted my photo to stand out so I have used a frame from the Good Vibes collection by Crate Paper, the peach pom poms and gold being perfect!
I finished my layout off with a light splatter of black color shine by Hiedi Swapp.
