Find Your Wild Layout with Katelyn

Hey Wild Whisper Fans, Katelyn here! I'm excited to be back on the blog today sharing with you my newest project that features the More Adventures collection. By using the paper pack and Card Pack from the More Adventure collection, I was able to create my Find Your Wild Scrapbook Layout. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my layout at home.
To start, you'll need the Card Pack. From the card pack, fussy cut the tent out, adventure word, find your wild, one wood circle and two wood triangles. From the bottom of the Find your Wild card, cut a piece that measures 1 7/8" x 1 1/8". From the mustard card, cut a piece that measures 1/2" x 3". Ink the edges of all pieces using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
The last element you'll need from the card pack is the 3" x 4" card that is lined. Ink the edges of the card using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the Cut Apart paper, fussy cut the sign and wood circle. Choose one of the squares and cut it. Cut the square into one piece that measures 1/2" x 2 1/2" and a second piece that measures 1" x 2 3/4". Ink the edges of all of the pieces using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the wood paper, cut a piece that measures 3 3/4" x 5 1/2". Ink the edges of the paper using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the blue woodgrain paper, cut a piece that measures 3 1/2" x 5 1/4". Ink the edges of the patterned paper using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Choose two border strips from the bottom of the patterned papers. Cut one border strip down to 6". Cut the second border strip down to 5 3/4". Ink the edges of both border strips using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Cut the blue geometric patterned paper down to 11 1/2" x 11 1/2". At the top right of the paper, tear a bit down. At the bottom middle of the paper, tear a bit up. Ink the edges of the patterned paper using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Cut the border strip off the bottom of the grey geometric patterned paper. Ink the edges of the patterned paper using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Adhere the blue geometric patterned paper piece to the grey geometric patterned paper piece.
Adhere the blue woodgrain paper on an angle to the wood paper. Adhere the photo to the middle of the wood paper. Adhere the lined card 1/2" from the left of the wood paper, leaving three lines showing. Foam square the wood paper 2" from the right and 3 1/4" from the top of the grey geometric paper.
Adhere the yellow paper 1/4" above the wood paper. Adhere the leaf paper 1/2" behind the yellow paper and above the wood paper. In the top left and bottom right corners of the wood paper, adhere one of the wood triangles. Adhere the 1/2" star paper 1/4" from the right of the wood paper. Adhere the 1" star paper 3/8" from the left of the wood paper. Adhere the 6" border strip below the photo. Adhere the 5 3/4" border strip slightly overtop of the 6" border strip.
Adhere the world, mountains and adventures signs to the left of the photo. Use Xyron's sticker maker to adhere the Find Your Wild sentiment to the right of the photo.
In the bottom left corner of the layout, adhere the two large woodgrain circles slightly overtop of one another. Foam square the woodgrain circle to the bottom left hand corner. Foam square the tent to the middle of the woodgrain circle. Use Xyron's Sticker Maker to adhere the adventure word above the tent.
To finish off your layout, add journaling to 3" x 4" card.
Here are a few closeup photos of the finished scrapbook layout.
