Hello friends! Karla back today with a double pocket page layout for you! I love the outdoor, nature theme in the beautiful Adventure collection, and I thought the Card Pack would be perfect to help document my camping photos from a trip we took to an Alberta campground in Enchant. My girlies were so little and our whole family had fun looking at these cute pics. I'm so happy I could get them into pocket pages, decorated beautifully and in my album so we can flip through them anytime! I started off by placing the photos in the pockets, cutting down some of the 4x6 photos to fit into the 3x4" pockets. I added some ephemera from the Adventure Ephemera Pack along with some stickers from a Simple Stories sticker pack.
I found a 4x6 journaling card that I wanted to add and used white embossing powder to add stamped images using the Adventure Stamp Set and layered on the cute bear ephemera. I love that you can either do quick and easy with pocket pages, or take your time and add embellishments.
I dressed up the 'title' for my pages with some alpha stickers from Pinkfresh and Jillibean Soup and then added an embossed image from the stamp set and a tree ephemera piece. I really like the tree rings included in the set - they'll be wonderful for any season! Don't forget you can always check for products that may be sold out at the Wild Whisper Shop at our partner retailers too!
On the second pocket page, which happens to be the backside of the pocket page, I used the other side of each journaling card and added in my photos. The colours and images in this collection are so great!
I used one of the arrow branding strips from the 12x12 paper pack to decorate the journaling card on the top right and added an ephemera piece and some coordinating Sequins. Some of the Simple Stories Stickers decorate the wood sign in a cool type font.
I added some white gel pen journaling on the black card and added some white heat embossing using a sentiment from the stamp set. I love that I've gotten two full pages of photos done with journaling and been able to document this fun camping trip!
